Black Hills State University offers community members the opportunity to observe classes with a Visitor Pass.
A Visitor Pass, issued for $100 per class, allows someone who is not registered at BHSU to observe a class on an available space basis. Each person is allowed to take up to two classes per semester.
“The Visitor Pass provides residents of the region the opportunity to expand the depth and breadth of their interests and be exposed to the outstanding faculty members leading the innovative high-quality educational opportunities at Black Hills State University,” BHSU President Kay Schallenkamp says.
Visitor pass registration begins Aug. 15. Anyone interested in obtaining a visitor pass for the fall semester should contact Johanna at 642-6044. The fall semester at BHSU begins Monday, Aug. 29 for classes that meet after 4 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 30 for daytime classes.
The Visitor Pass program is designed to provide citizens the opportunity to visit classes without the need to complete assignments or tests. A Visitor Pass will be issued if space is available for specific courses requested.
For more information about the Visitor Pass or to browse a list of courses offered at BHSU see www.BHSU.edu/VisitorPass.
