Summer Stage at Black Hills State University will wrap up its fifth season with Postmortem, a murder mystery by Ken Ludwig. Performance dates are July 28, 29, and 30 at 7:30 p.m., and July 31 at 2:30 p.m. in the Pangburn Laboratory Theatre.
This clever thriller delights with all the classic murder mystery devices: shots in the dark, darkly held secrets, deathbed letters, bottles bashed over the head, ghosts and hiders behind curtains, and misbegotten suspicions. This is a whodunit mystery packed with suspects and tinged with suspense and laughter.
Cast and crew include: Michael Boring, BHSU graduate, as William Gillette; Steve Boring, wellness management and theatre major from Pierre, as Bobby Caryle; Tessa Braddy, BHSU graduate from Spearfish, as May Dison; Jessica Juhrend, BHSU graduate from Spearfish, as Marion Barrett; Tyler Millslagle, junior speech communication major from Rapid City, as Leo Barrett; Ann Thompson, senior mass communication and theatre major from Spearfish as Lily Warner; and Megan Huber, BHSU graduate from Belle Fourche, as Louise Parradine.
