BHSU Grads to perform at the Matthews Opera House

Recent Black Hills State University graduates Tyler Raad, Mary McGillivray, and Tessa Braddy will perform in a special show at Matthews Opera House this week. Spearfish native and two-time Tony Award nominee lyricicist Bill Russell will host two evenings of songs from musicals he’s written for the stage on Thursday, June 30 and Sunday, July 3, both at 7:30 p.m.

All the proceeds will go to support the “Peanut Butter & Jelly Players” (the children’s theater program) at the Spearfish Arts Center. The show will include several local performers.  Dr. Janeen Larsen, BHSU emeritus music professor, will serve as musical director.
