Black Hills State University will present the fifth season of Summer Stage beginning Thursday, July 7. Productions this season include a comedy, a musical and a mystery.

The season kicks off with Love, Sex and the IRS, a comedy by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore, July 7, 8, 9 at 7:30 p.m., and July 10 at 2:30 p.m. With twists of fate, mistaken identities and hilarious comic lines, Love, Sex, and the IRS is a wild farce about unemployed musicians Jon and Leslie, who room together in New York City.

Peter Pan, the musical by Piers Chater Robinson, will run for two weeks beginning July 14, 15, 16 21, 22, and 23 at 7:30 p.m., and July 17 and 24 at 2:30 p.m. Peter Pan, like its namesake, is a tale which never ages. Children and adults have fallen under the spell of Neverland, a place where children can fly and exciting adventures happen every day.

Postmortem, a murder mystery by Ken Ludwig, will wrap up the season July 28, 29, 30 at 7:30 p.m., and July 31 at 2:30 p.m. This clever thriller delights with all the classic murder mystery devices: shots in the dark, darkly held secrets, deathbed letters, bottles bashed over the head, ghosts and hiders behind curtains, and misbegotten suspicions. This is a whodunit mystery packed with suspects and tinged with suspense and laughter.

All performances will be in the Pangburn Laboratory Theatre, reservations are recommended. To make reservations or to learn more visit www.BHSU.edu/Theatre, call 605.642.6171, or email Summer.Stage@BHSU.edu. Ticket prices are $13 for adults, $11 for seniors, $8 for students, and $5 for ages 17 and under.
