BHSU faculty and staff transform lives

Black Hills State University faculty and staff are creating headlines and transforming lives.

Dr. Christian Nsiah, associate professor of economics at BHSU, had a paper he co-authored entitled "The Impact of Governance on Economic Growth in Africa," accepted for publication in the Journal of Developing Areas.

Dr. Rajeev Bukralia, dean of Educational Outreach and Libraries at BHSU, has been appointed commissioner in the Learning, Instruction, and Technology Commission of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA). As a commissioner, he will help to identify emerging policy issues in distance education and professional development needs of continuing education professionals. Bukralia currently serves in leadership positions in the organization, including research chair and executive committee member in the Distance Learning Community of Practice Committee. UPCEA is a national organization based in Washington, D.C. and is dedicated for causes related to distance learning and continuing education.
