Black Hills State University honors members of the Class of ‘61

Black Hills State University honored ten graduates from the Class of ’61 during the 161st Commencement Ceremony. Members of the class were invited back to campus to partake in a 50-Year-Club banquet, hosted by the BHSU Alumni Association, where they were inducted into the club.  Graduates honored at commencement include: left to right, Terry Egge, Rapid City; Maurine (Brengle) Fowler, Belle Fourche; Delbert Blume, Buffalo; Linda (Novotny) Hughes, Spearfish; Ernest "Butch" Parkinson, Irene; Darlene (Gray) Kutzler, Huron; Roger G. Bell, Spearfish; Diana (Babb) Glover, Rapid City; Carole Fitzgerald, Albany, Calif.; and Melvin Harter, Witten.
