Take Five Early Registration winners announced

Black Hills State University Center for Academic Success is pleased to announce the winners of the Take Five Early Registration Event. Allison Syman, freshman English major from Spearfish, was the recipient of the $500 Fall 2011 Early Registration Scholarship.

Black Hills State University Center for Academic Success is pleased to announce the winners of the Take Five Early Registration Event. The Center sponsors an event each semester to promote early registration for classes.

All students who will be full time students taking at least five classes and were registered by April 24 were included in a drawing for the prizes.

Allison Syman, freshman English major from Spearfish, was the recipient of the $500 Fall 2011 Early Registration Scholarship.

Recipients of $50 BHSU Bookstore gift cards include: Jamie Vickers, senior communication art major from Sturgis; Leah Sideras, senior psychology major from Sioux Falls; Stella Hernandez, senior psychology major from Rapid City; Adam Burke, sophomore political science major from Sturgis; Stephen Hacklynn, sophomore from Sturgis; and Muriah Emory, junior professional accountancy major from Casper, Wyo.

The awards are made possible through the generosity of the BHSU Bookstore, BHSU Alumni Office, Center for Academic Success and the students, community members, faculty and staff who donate through fundraising events.
