Six BHSU rodeo team members qualify for College National Finals Rodeo

Six Black Hills State University rodeo team members recently qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) that will be held in Casper, Wyo., June 12-18. Qualified rodeo team members include: left to right, Taylor Williams, junior from Volborg, Mont., in team roping; Jordyn Johnson, junior from Sturgis, in breakaway roping; Joey Painter, sophomore from Buffalo, in breakaway roping and goat tying; Tye Hale, junior from White Owl, in tie down roping and team roping; Lexy Smith, junior from Flandreau, in breakaway roping; and Jamie Britton, sophomore from Buffalo, in goat tying. Far right, Glen Lammers, BHSU head rodeo coach, was named Coach of the Year for the Great Plains Region.
