Black Hills State University to host annual Black Hills Teacher Fair

Black Hills State University will host the 10th Annual Black Hills Teacher Fair Monday, March 21 at the Donald E. Young Sports and Fitness Center Field House from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

School districts from across the state and the nation participate in this annual event to interview and hire K-12 education majors as graduates of BHSU. South Dakota school districts already registered this year include: Box Elder, Eagle Butte, Eureka, Hot Springs, Lead-Deadwood, Martin, Mission, Rapid City Area, and Pierre, among many others. Representatives from school districts in Alaska, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wyoming will also be in attendance.

Last year more than 150 students and alumni, as well as more than two dozen community members, attended the Black Hills Teacher Fair. The event is open to the public and free of charge to job seekers. For more information about this event call Eileen at 605-642-6277 or email Careers@BHSU.edu.
