Black Hills State University to host Founders’ Day celebration

Black Hills State University will celebrate its 128th anniversary with a Founders’ Day luncheon Monday, Feb. 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Hive Dining area located in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union.

In celebration of Founders’ Day, former BHSU President Tom Flickema and his wife Judy will assist BHSU President Kay Schallenkamp with the ceremonial cake cutting.

The cost for the luncheon is $7.99 per person (this includes tax) and no RSVP is needed. This event is open to the public. For more information contact Tom Wheaton at 642-6385 or email
