Notre Dame professor to speak at BHSU

Dr. Alexander J. Hahn, professor of mathematics, director of the Honors Program for the College of Science and director of the Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Notre Dame, will deliver a lecture entitled “Truth in Numbers: From Notre Dame Football to The DaVinci Code” Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Jonas Hall 104 on the Black Hills State University campus.

The interactive presentation will explore the connection between myth and mathematics in popular media. The event is sponsored by BHSU Office of Academic Affairs, BHSU Mathematics Department, and BHSU Honors Program as well as the Notre Dame Club of the Black Hills.
