BHSU Community Chorus and Band begin fall rehearsals

The Black Hills State University Community Chorus and Band will begin fall rehearsals. Community members are invited to participate.

The BHSU Community Chorus is open to all singers and will begin rehearsals on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. in Clare and Josef Meier Hall 128. The chorus will rehearse Tuesday evenings from 7- 9 p.m. to prepare for Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de Confessore performance under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Nero later this fall. The BHSU community band, which plays a wide range of music, will begin rehearsals Monday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. in Meier Hall 130. Rehearses will be held on Mondays from 7-9 p.m. and are open to any wind or percussion player. The band, under the direction of BHSU instructor Christopher Hahn, performs a one to two concerts each semester. For more information contact Hahn at 642-6888 or Christopher.Hahn @BHSU.edu.
