BHSU will send three competitors to the College National Finals Rodeo

Black Hills State University will send three qualified competitors to the College National Finals Rodeo, June 12-19 in Casper, Wyo. Competitors that will be competing at the CNFR, front, PJ Painter, recent professional accountancy and business administration major graduate from Buffalo; and Joey Painter, freshman business administration major from Buffalo; back, Tye Hale, junior pre-agriculture major from White Owl; and Coach Glen Lammers.

Black Hills State University will send three qualified competitors to the College National Finals Rodeo, June 12-19 in Casper, Wyo.

PJ Painter, recent professional accountancy and business administration major graduate from Buffalo; Joey Painter, freshman business administration major from Buffalo; and Tye Hale, junior pre-agriculture major from White Owl will compete in the CNFR.

PJ recently won the All-Around Cowboy title for the Great Plains Region and qualified for the CNFR in the tie down roping and the team roping events. Joey won the reserve All-Around Title and will be competing in the goat tying and the barrel racing events. Hale will be competing in the team roping and was recently elected to represent the Great Plains Region as a student director from 2010-2012. To learn more visit www.BHSU.edu/Rodeo.
