BHSU students elect new Student Senate leaders

The Black Hills State University Student Senate recently held its spring 2010 election to select a new president, vice president, minister of finance, and secretary.

Brittney Seitz, freshman psychology and political science major from Black Hawk, was elected president and Selam Mamo, junior political science major from Ethiopia, will serve as vice president.

Dustin Christensen, freshman early childhood special education major from Hot Springs, was elected as minister of finance.

Kelsey Wilson, sophomore early education major from Pierre, will serve as the new secretary.

Seitz, Mamo, Christensen, and Wilson will serve until April 2011, representing BHSU in the South Dakota Board of Regents Student Federation, allocating funds to student organizations and representing the student body on campus.
