Afghan journalists to present at BHSU


Black Hills State University will host a presentation by journalists from Afghanistan, Monday, April 19 at 12 noon in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union Jacket Legacy Room.

The presentation will feature senior regional and international editor of Pajhwok Afghan News, Javed Hamim Kakar and senior reporter, Zainab Mohammadi.

The journalists will speak about Afghanistan and the stories covered there. Mohammadi will also discuss the possible cultural misconceptions the U.S. has about Afghan women and their role in society.
