Chamber Music Concert to be held this weekend

The music of Brahms and Beethoven will be featured in a special Chamber Music Concert hosted at Black Hills State University Saturday, Feb. 24 at 2:30 p.m. in the recital hall of Clare and Josef Meier Hall.

The concert will include performances by the Black Hills Symphony String Quartet and the Black Hills Chamber Trio. Performers will be pianist Dr. Janeen Larsen, cellist Elizabeth Benusis, violist Charlene Savot, and violinists Coral White, Carol Knowles, and Elizabeth Knowles.

Musical pieces will include the Beethoven String Quartet Opus 18, No. 4, and the Brahms Piano Trio Opus 101. According to Larsen, this should be a polished and very enjoyable hour-long concert.
