BHSU staff transform lives

Black Hills State University staff are transforming lives and making headlines with their achievements.

Roberta Sago, special collections librarian and archivist for the Leland D. Case Library at Black Hills State University, recently co-authored a book with BHSU alumna, Jan Cerney. The book, “Black Hills Gold Rush Towns,” published by Arcadia Publishing, looks at the mining towns that once flourished in the Black Hills area. This is Sago’s second collaboration with Cerney. In 2007, they published “Spearfish,” which documented the Spearfish area’s historical past.
