‘Hearts for Haiti’ kicks off fundraising efforts tonight at BHSU

The Black Hills State University “Hearts for Haiti” fundraising initiative begins tonight, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Student Union Jacket Legacy Room.

This event which is open to everyone interested in attending and learning more about the project, will feature different speakers, videos, and opportunities for clubs and organizations to begin registering their fundraising projects.

Tonight’s event will begin the student organization challenge in which BHSU clubs and organizations will compete to raise the most money to help victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The club or organization that raises the largest amount of money will earn a pizza party donated by A’viands Dining Services at BHSU.
