11th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Chili and Soup Supper to benefit food pantry

The 11th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Chili and Soup Supper to benefit the local food pantry will be held Monday, Jan. 18 from 5-7 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Spearfish.

The cost of supper will be non-perishable food items or money to benefit the food pantry. The event raised nearly $1,000 last year, as well as more than 230 food pantry items.

The event is sponsored by Black Hills State University Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), Spearfish Senior Citizens Center, BHSU AmeriCorps VISTA, and local churches.
