BHSU faculty and staff transform lives

Black Hills State University faculty and staff are transforming lives and making headlines with their achievements.

Dr. Nicholas Wallerstein, professor in the Department of Humanities, has published an article titled "The Art of Glossing King Lear." The article appears in the Selected Proceedings of the Seventeenth Annual Northern Plains Conference on Early British Literature, published by The College of St. Benedict/St. John's University, St. Cloud, Minn.

Nancy Grassel, director of Human Resources, presented at the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) National Conference, as a member of a panel of three others from the S.D. Board of Regents. The presentation was entitled “Shared Services - Concept for Efficiency and Maximization of Administrative/Transactional Services.” Grassel is currently serving as the chair-elect for the Midwest Region College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). Grassel is responsible for the development of the program for the Midwest Conference in Minneapolis in June. At the conference, Grassel along with Doug Corwin, information technology consultant, S.D. Board of Regents Information Systems, will give a presentation entitled “Automating Employment Contracts from your HRIS.”
