BHSU graduates participate in ‘Extra Curricular’ art show at the Dahl Arts Center

Artwork by 11 Black Hills State University graduates, who are now employed as teachers, were among the artists showcased in a recent show at the Dahl Arts Center.

The exhibit, Extra Curricular: K-12 Art Educators of the Black Hills, showcased the latest works by K-12 art educators from schools throughout the Black Hills region.

According to the Center’s website, the Dahl Arts Center encourages teachers to share their artistic talents with the community in this exhibit, since they share their creative talents with the next generation in the classroom on a daily basis.

BHSU alumni that participated in exhibit included: Anna Ball, Class of ’04; Bobbie Greenway Class of ’80; Dave Horan, Class of ’91; Lori Jones, Class of ’03; Melanie Kelley, Class of ’98; Paula Manley, Class of ’79; Kristi McCoy, Class of ’79, Jennifer Roberts, Class of ’06; Roger Schara, Class of 92; Lynn Steinley, Class of ’96 and Rui Sukut, Class of ’01.
