BHSU among SD universities to receive NASA grants

Black Hills State University assistant professor of science, Dr. Kara Keeter, recently received a $3,250 grant from NASA through the South Dakota Space Grant Consortium.

Keeter will travel with colleagues and students to the NASA Ames Research Center to discuss research progress and collaborations and offer students exposure to career opportunities at NASA.

BHSU was one of several universities selected as a recipient of a Consortium Development Competition award from NASA to help fund the Deep Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory exploration of the Earth’s interior.
