BHSU Professor’s art to be on display at Washington Pavilion

Black Hills State University professor of art, Dave Wilson, will have his artwork on display at Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls.

The Pavilion is hosting the second annual P3 exhibition P3 (Painters, Poets & Pavilion), which opens Dec. 4, and continues through February 28, 2010. Twenty-five visual artists from the region have been paired with regional poets to create collaborative artworks and poems for this exhibition. Wilson’s artwork is paired with poetry by Ruby Wilson.

“The response by artists and poets has been remarkable, their professionalism and commitment towards this exhibition shows the strength of the humanities throughout this region. The Visual Arts Center is pleased to showcase this extraordinary exhibition,” David Merhib, director of the Visual Arts Center, said.
