BHSU upgrades seating options at Young Center

Black Hills State University has upgraded seating in the Donald E. Young Sports and Fitness Center. Fans now have the option to reserve seats for home games.

Upgraded seating in the Donald E. Young Sports and Fitness Center is in place for Yellow Jacket basketball.

Fans can now reserve comfort at BHSU athletic events. Along with the general admission season ticket price of $199, for a donation of $100 to the Yellow Jacket Foundation fans can now sit in the new reserved chair backed seats in the Young Center. Fans who upgrade to the reserved seating will also have the opportunity to sit in the reserved seating area in Lyle Hare Stadium. The home side of the stands in the Young Center is now complete with 462 chair backed seats.

According to John Kietzmann, Assistant Athletic Director, “BHSU depends on alumni and friends to provide scholarship aid to our student-athletes. Contributions and season ticket purchases benefit the BHSU scholarship program. We invite you to join us for all athletic events.”

The Yellow Jackets achieved many milestones during the 2008-2009 season. BHSU finished 11th, placing the highest among DAC schools, in the NAIA Directors’ Cup, a measure of the entire athletic program’s success, as well as the average team grade point average was 3.10.
