BHSU to host faculty recital

Hahn

The Black Hills State University music department will host a faculty recital Sunday, Oct. 4 at 2:30 p.m. in the Clare and Josef Meier Recital Hall on the BHSU campus.

The recital will feature Christopher Hahn, instructor of music; Nancy Roberts, assistant professor of music; Jonathan Nero, assistant professor of music; the Black Hills Piano Trio including Janeen Larsen, Coral White, and Elizabeth Benusis; and music student Kim Ulmen from Kadoka.

The recital, Christopher Hahn and Friends, will feature music by Baroque composers Handel and Vivaldi and contemporary composer Eric Ewazen. Other pieces include selections from opera, gospel, and even a tango.
