Black Hills State University faculty and staff are transforming lives and making headlines with their achievements.
Dr. Christian Nsiah, associate professor of economics, had a manuscript entitled "The Impact of Remittances on Economic Growth and Development in Africa" accepted for publication by the American Economist.
Dr. Andy Johnson, associate director of the Center for Advancement of Math & Science Education, is currently teaching "The Physics of Light and Color" at the Ox-Bow Art Institute on the shore of Lake Michigan. The Ox-Bow Institute offers in-depth study on special techniques in a variety of artistic media, and provides an artists' residency program. The Ox-Bow Institute is located near Saugatuck, Michigan. Dr. Nicholas Wallerstein, professor of English, delivered a paper in May at the 17th Annual Conference on Early British Literature, held at St. John's University/College of St. Benedict, in Saint Cloud, Minn. The paper was titled "The Art of Glossing King Lear."
