Take 5 and win $500 winners announced

Six Black Hills State University students were recently named the winners in the Take 5 and Win $500 Challenge.  Winners include:  (back row) Crystal Burnett, junior sociology major from Sheridan, Wyo.; Tristen Upward, sophomore mass communication major from Vermillion; Jessica Hirsch, freshman outdoor education major from Gayville; (front row)Kyle Hollingsworth, senior accounting major from Pierre; Joshua Peters, senior outdoor education major from Craig, Colo.

Black Hills State University recently named the winners of the Take 5 and Win $500 Challenge.

The winner of the $500 scholarship sponsored by the Center for Academic Success was Tristen Upward, sophomore mass communication major from Vermillion. Five others were chosen for $50 gift cards to the BHSU Bookstore. The recipients of the gift cards include: Crystal Burnett, junior sociology major from Sheridan, Wyo.; Jessica Hirsch, freshman outdoor education major from Gayville; Kyle Hollingsworth, senior accounting major from Pierre; Joshua Peters, senior outdoor education major from Craig, Colo.

The Take 5 and Win $500 campaign encourages BHSU students to register early for the fall 2009 semester to ensure an ideal class schedule. BHSU students who registered by May 1 were entered into a drawing for one of five $50 gift certificates and a $500 scholarship sponsored by BHSU Center for Academic Success, University Bookstore, and Alumni Office.
