BHSU celebrates Earth Week

Black Hills State University recently celebrated Earth Week 2009 with a number of activities, including a clean-up project in collaboration with city of Spearfish. From left are BHSU students Josh Cooke, sophomore mass communication major from Douglas; Holly Weig, junior mass communication major from Rapid City; Kelly Smith, sophomore Spanish major from Lead; Nathan Van Patten, junior outdoor education major from Marshall, Minn.; and Brie Covert, junior history major from Pablo, Mont. The students are members of the BHSU organization People for the Ethical Treatment of the Environment (P.E.T.E.)
