BHSU faculty and staff transform lives

Black Hills State University faculty, staff, and students are transforming lives and making headlines with their achievements.

Steve Babbitt, professor of mass communication, was recently featured by the Dakota Day blog for his photographic artwork on exhibit at the APEX gallery at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. See the interview and images at DakotaDay.com.

Dr. Priscilla Romkema, dean of the College of Business and Technology, will be running in the 113th Boston Marathon Monday, April 20, 2009. Romkema qualified for the Boston Marathon during the Leading Ladies’ Marathon and is currently one of 22 South Dakota residents who will be participating.

Dr. Nicholas Wallerstein, professor of humanities, has been invited to participate in the Rapid City Journal’s blog on religious issues. The blog is a new form of media to academic and journalism practices in the area.
