Black Hills State University will host Introduction to Grant Writing for Students Wednesday, April 22 from 2-4 p.m. in room 205 of Clare and Josef Meier Hall.
Learn the essential techniques of grant writing during this two-hour session designed specifically for students. Whether you’re looking to secure grant funding for a worthwhile community service project or seeking to improve your overall business writing skills, the workshop will provide the basic techniques and tools for writing successful proposals.
Professional writing and communication skills are more crucial than ever in our hyper-connected economy. Fortunately, business proposals and grant proposals both follow the same general rules. Knowing how to respond effectively to a request for proposals (RFP) will make you an asset to any business or organization.
The workshop is open at no charge to BHSU students, faculty and staff. For more information and to register email SusiePratt@BHSU.edu or call 642-6912 by April 20.
