Career Center creates Lending Closet

Black Hills State University Career Center has developed a new service providing students with professional attire. The Lending Closet is seeking clothing and accessories that will assist students in projecting a professional image.

The clothing will be made available for students who are interviewing for graduate school, internships and jobs. The Lending Closet needs the following attire suits, sport coats, dress shirts, ties, slacks, blazers, skirts, blouses, women’s tops to wear under a jacket, suit style dresses, jewelry, shoes, and purses. In addition items such as briefcases and garment bags are desired to increase the students overall appearance. Your donation will give students a boost in confidence in the interview process and increase their chances for success in their professional endeavors.

If you would like to donate to the Lending Closet at BHSU email Careers@BHSU.edu to arrange pick-up or delivery. Arlene Holmes, Career Center director, notes that your donation will be a great asset in transforming lives at BHSU.
