RSVP plans annual Martin Luther King Day fundraiser

The Northern Black Hills Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), in residence at Black Hills State University, will hold their eighth annual Martin Luther King Day chili/soup supper Monday, Jan. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Spearfish.

The cost of the meal is a non-perishable food item or a cash donation for the Spearfish Food Pantry. Last year, over $600 and 400 items of food were collected.

The Spearfish Middle School swing choir will provide entertainment for the event.

Sponsors include the Northern Hills RSVP, Spearfish Senior Center, BHSU Ameri*Corps VISTA office, and Spearfish area churches. For more information, contact Nancy Wietgrefe, RSVP director, at 642-5198 or NancyWietgrefe@bhsu.edu.
