Nine students from Black Hills State University are taking part in the annual Students for Higher Education Days (SHED) at the state legislature.
According to Jill Kary, student senate president at BHSU, the event is a great learning opportunity for the students and provides the opportunity for dialogue between students and Legislators.
“This event coordinated by the Student Federation is an opportunity to build relationships with our colleagues from across the state, to share ideas, brainstorm, and plan for the spring semester and summer months. We also have the opportunity to meet with legislators and discuss higher education issues,” Kary says.
