BHSU Yellow Jackets to host home games and fun Feb. 6 and 7

The Black Hills State University Yellow Jackets will be at home for live basketball action both Friday and Saturday night at the Donald E. Young Sports and Fitness Center.

Friday, Feb. 6, BHSU will host Minot State. The action starts at 5:30 p.m. with the women’s game followed by the men’s game at 7:30 p.m.  Friday night games are sponsored by the BHSU Student Ambassadors.

Half-time entertainment includes spirit night games during both games, Great Western Bank shoot during the men’s game, with a special fundraiser for Coaches vs. Cancer throughout the night.
Fans will have the chance during both games to enjoy Exit 14 Phillips 66, 66 cent hot dogs. There will be free admission for fans who wear either a “Fear the Sting” shirt or a pink shirt for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Saturday, Feb. 7, the Yellow Jackets take on Dickinson State University.  Game time is 4 p.m. for the women and 6 p.m. for the men. The games are sponsored by Neugebauer’s Fine Jewelry from Rapid City.

Half-time entertainment includes the Great Western Bank Shootout, a Junior Jacket Camp performance, and a cake scramble with a chance to win a $1,000 gift certificate to Neugebauer’s.

Saturday night is senior night for the BHSU players therefore, fans will receive free admission if they show an ID with the name "Randy”, “Herman”, “A.J.”, “Fodness”, “Aaron”, “Sutton”, “Keighton”, or “Hatten."
