Self marketing expert to speak at BHSU

Black Hills State University welcomes author and businessman Jeff Beals to campus Saturday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.  Beals is the vice president of Coldwell Banker Commercial World Group and the author of “Self Marketing Power: Branding yourself as a Business of One.”

In his presentation, Beals helps individuals build a personal brand while striking balance between healthy self promotion and bragging.  The presentation covers how to promote your brand to your personal target audience, how to become a celebrity inside your sphere of interest, how to get real results from your networking efforts, harnessing the media for your advantage, and why an attitude of success is critical to self marketing.

This event is sponsored by the BHSU Career Center and SEACC Prevention and is open to the pubic.  General admission tickets are $25.  Students, faculty, and staff are admitted free of charge with their BUZZ card.
