Dr. Janet Briggs, instructor and science education specialist at the Center for Advancement of Mathematics and Science Education (CAMSE) at Black Hills State University, presented an interactive paper at the national conference of the Association for Science Teacher Education (ASTE).
The conference was held Jan. 8-10 in Hartford, Conn. Briggs presented an interactive paper on “Emerging Teacher Leadership in K-8 Science Education Reform.” Her paper was included in several other presentations on “Career Transition Points for Science Educators: Lessons Learned.”
ASTE is a professional organization of over 800 members whose mission is to promote excellence in science teacher education world-wide.
