BHSU theatre will perform "A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley" Dec. 4-7

The Black Hills State University theatre department will perform “A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley” Dec. 4-6 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 7 at 2:30 p.m. in the Woodburn Hall Theatre.

The story was written by Israel Horovitz, and will be directed by Bert Juhrend, assistant professor of theatre at BHSU.  Horovitz's adaptation follows the Dickens original but, adds elements of inventiveness and brilliant theatricality which enhance and strengthen its timeless virtues.

The performance is free of charge to all BHSU faculty, staff, and students.  General admission tickets are $6 and seniors are $3.

For more information or to request accommodations for persons with disabilities, contact Bert Juhrend at 642-6268 or BertJuhrend@BHSU.edu.
