Black Hills State University faculty to perform recital

Christopher Hahn, Black Hills State University instructor of music, will perform a trumpet recital Oct. 26, 2:30 p.m. in the Clare & Josef Meier Recital Hall.  Hahn will be accompanied by Dr. Janeen Larsen, chair of the fine and applied arts department at BHSU, on piano. It is free of charge and is open to the public.

This concert will include many works from various countries includes Russia, France, and the Netherlands.  It is free of charge and is open to the public.

Hahn has been a member of the BHSU faculty since 2000.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in music literature from the University of Miami and his master’s in music from the University of Wyoming.

Larsen has been with BHSU for over 30 years.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in music from the University of South Florida; her master’s in piano music from the University of Wisconsin at Madison; and her doctorate in curriculum and instruction from the University of Florida.
