Commuters offered money-saving transportation option

Black Hills State University students, faculty and staff who commute between Spearfish, Sturgis, Piedmont, Black Hawk and Rapid City can now save money and help the environment by taking advantage of Prairie Hills Transit’s 90-day commuter pilot program.

Prairie Hills Transit offers two morning routes and two afternoon routes from Spearfish to Rapid City in addition to two morning routes and two afternoon routes from Rapid City to Spearfish. Stops will be made in Black Hawk, Piedmont, and Sturgis. Additional routes may be added after the conclusion of the pilot program.
