The Black Hills State Players will present a children’s theatre performance of Assignment: Earth, What Kids Can Do To Save the Planet. The show will be performed by a group of children from the Spearfish community.
Assignment: Earth will premiere in the Woodburn Hall Theatre on the Black Hills State University campus Friday, June 13 at 2 p.m. Additional performances will be held Saturday, June 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 15 at 2:30 p.m.
The performance is a part of the BHSU summer theatre program, which is in its second season at the University. In July BHSU’s summer performing troupe, the Black Hills State Players, will begin their season with the premiere of Oklahoma!. Later in the summer the troupe will stage renditions of Deadwood Dick and Hello Dolly. Performances will be held Wednesday through Sunday from July 9 through Aug. 17.
