Erlich researches new book

Journalist and author Reese Erlich, who was a guest speaker on the Black Hills State University campus last fall, recently finished researching for his new book in Cuba. He will begin his tour to promote the book in January 2009.

In the meantime, six of Erlich’s works will appear on National Public Radio, Latino USA, and the Morning Edition.  Erlich works full time as a freelance print and broadcast journalist. He reports regularly for National Public Radio, Marketplace Radio, Latino USA, Radio Deutche Welle, Australian Broadcasting Corp. Radio, and Canadian Broadcasting Corp. Radio. He also writes for the San Francisco Chronicle, the St. Petersburg Times, and the Christian Science Monitor.

Described by Walter Cronkite, as “a great radio producer and a great friend,” Erlich has a long history in journalism that goes back 40 years. His television documentaries have aired on PBS stations nationwide.
