Black Hills State University graduate Nicole (Fellows) Keegan, Class of ’05, received a surprise visit from BHSU’s Yellow Jacket mascot, Sting, and Tom Wheaton, director of Alumni Relations at BHSU. Keegan, who teaches seventh-grade science and social studies at Dakota Middle School in Rapid City, received the Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award for excellence in teaching.
Holocaust survivor Eva Mozes Kor will speak at Black Hills State University Thursday, March 15 at 3:30 p.m. in the Meier Recital Hall, as part of the Madeline A. Young Distinguished Speaker Series.
