The 2012 South Dakota Music Teachers Association conference is held at Black Hills State University this year.  The event includes concerts, competitions for vocalist and instrumentalist grade 5 though college, and workshops for music teachers.  All events take place in Clare & Josef Meier Hall.  SDMTA is an organization for private and studio music teachers that is affiliated with Music Teachers National Association.
