Four Black Hills State University students were recently honored for their outstanding research projects at the 16th Annual Black Hills Research Symposium.

At least one out of every three women worldwide has been beaten or sexually abused in her lifetime; however, less than 50 percent of these crimes are reported. Black Hills State University has joined in the campaign to raise awareness of this abuse and provide an open dialogue about it.
More than 30 Black Hills State University students and several student organizations were honored during the 20th Annual Student Volunteer Awards Celebration.
