The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) at Black Hills State University, in collaboration with Regional Health, will host a 5K/10K Run & Walk Saturday, June 16 in Spearfish. The run/walk will begin at 8 a.m. at the BHSU Lyle Hare Stadium, continue on the Spearfish Bike Path, and finish at the BHSU Lyle Hare Stadium. The 10K will start at the BHSU Lyle Hare Stadium, continue on the Spearfish bike path to Spearfish Canyon and also finish at the Lyle Hare Stadium. Event day registration will be from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
The Black Hills State University 20th Annual Alumni Mile registered a record-breaking number of runners for the second consecutive year, with over 40 alumni and friends in attendance.
After just five years on the professional strongman circuit, Brian Shaw, Class of 2004, is dominating the strongman world and building a successful business, creating training products, and booking appearances across the country.
