Black Hills State University will honor 179 graduates during the Fall Commencement Ceremony Saturday, Dec. 14.

The 2019 fall session of the South Dakota Stock Market Game run by Black Hills State University concluded its 10-week trading session Friday, Dec. 6. Teams of student stock market investors receive a hypothetical $100,000 to perform online investing in real-time stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Student teams compete for prizes in the High School, Middle School and College divisions.
Black Hills State University invites the public to the “Because of You Anything is Possible” Capital Campaign Celebration Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 3 p.m. at the Joy Center. The Dec. 17 date marks the conclusion of the successful five-year effort to increase student scholarships.
An agreement between Black Hills State University and Western Dakota Technical Institute is helping students successfully complete their bachelor’s degrees in human services.
Brent Moe of Rapid City will graduate from BHSU Dec. 14 as a result of the agreement between the two schools. Moe works as a community services officer at the Rapid City Police Department.
