BHSU and the Spearfish Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a cracker barrel Saturday, Feb. 10th at 9 a.m. at the Joy Center to discuss the Legislative session.
Legislative cracker barrels offer access to your local legislators, as well as the chance to hear their answers on a variety of Legislative topics. Rep. Charles Turbiville, Rep. Tim Johns and Sen. Bob Ewing will give updates and answer questions from the audience.
The term cracker barrel refers to the 1800s when rural people would gather around the “cracker barrels” at the country store to informally discuss politics and other news of the day. Today’s cracker barrels offer informative and respectful discussions.
