Leah Braun, Harney Business Group, will present a workshop, Bridging Generations, in Hill City on Tuesday, April 5.

A workshop for business owners in the Southern Hills, entitled Bridging Generations, will be held at Slate Creek Grill in Hill City on Tuesday, April 5. Doors open at 7:30 for breakfast with the program beginning promptly at 8 a.m. and concluding at 9:30 a.m. Cost of the workshop is $25, which includes breakfast. Registration is available online at www.BHSU.edu/SDCEO or by calling 605-642-6435.

This workshop is specifically tailored to employers who are charged with working with the range of generations. "Employers are hungry for ideas that will answer the question, 'how do I work with my 18-year old employee and my 60-year old employee in a way that is fair and leads to a harmonious workplace'?" says presenter Leah Braun, principle, Harney Business Group. "This workshop will help them answer that question as well as teach tools, tips, and techniques for working with the various generations, and provide an opportunity to talk through real issues facing employers."

This workshop is hosted in partnership with the South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) at Black Hills State University, and the Hill City Chamber of Commerce.

Registration is required by April 3. Street parking will be available.
