Three Social Media Marketing Workshops will be held in the Northern Black Hills and Rapid City area. Social Media for Business will be held at BHSU-Rapid City Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Social Media Timesavers will be held Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Joy (Proctor) Krautschun Alumni/Foundation Welcome Center at BHSU in Spearfish. A second Social Media Timesavers will be held Thursday, Sept. 24 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Meade School Administration Building in Sturgis.

The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) at Black Hills State University has partnered with SCORE and Constant Contact to provide these seminars to the area.



Corissa St. Laurent, Director of Regional Development for Constant Contact, Northwest US, will be instructing the seminars. St. Laurent is a small business marketing expert and advocate with 15 years of experience in relationship marketing, new media marketing, event marketing, brand consulting, PR, promotions and education. Since 2009 she has educated over 40,000 people on behalf of Constant Contact on the power of engagement marketing.

Attendees of Social Media for Business will learn how to tell if a site is right for your business, what kind of content to create and post, and how to integrate social media with email. Attendees of Social Media Timesavers will learn how to create more awareness, get more leads, and build trust and credibility, all in less time.
