BHSU One Act Play Festival kicks off this week

The Black Hills State University One Act Play Festival begins on Wednesday, offering theater-goers a variety of on-stage entertainment.  

A total of 11 plays will be performed and directed by BHSU students during this year&rsquos festival. All shows will take place in the Pangburn Theatre on the BHSU campus and are free and open to the public. Four shows each will be performed on Wednesday and Thursday evening. Three shows will be performed on Friday, and on Saturday, all 11 performances will take place.

The one act plays are a variety of dramas, comedy and action, said Bert Juhrend, professor of theater at BHSU.

The One Act Play Festival schedule is:

&middot 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 29

&middot 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 30

&middot 7:30 p.m., Friday, May 1

&middot 11 a.m., Saturday, May 2
